School's Out
Yesterday was the last official day of school for my wife and son (12 month school). Since I have been out for a couple of weeks already, we can officially call it summer around here. Unfortunately there will not be a break, as I am already working at the tech summer camp, and Karen will have full-time watch over the kids (which, with our two, is quite the job). I had another interview for an elementary school art instructor, but they won't let me know until next week. Keep you posted. Karen also has an interview this Monday for another open BRT position. I can still hardly believe that 15 schools needed new BRTs this year. I am throwing her all the good fortune I can muster (even the stuff I should have been holding to get my job) - please do the same.
I also wanted to do an endorsement. Hoops & Yoyo are these little characters backed by the Hallmark company. They have a slew of e-cards, ranging from the usual holiday fare, the missing yous - the get well soons, and also a bunch of just nutty things (Treat Tuesdays comes to mind). I stumbled across them when I was looking for a card to send to Karen, and now I find myself over there at least once a week sending an e-card. These guys make me think of opportunities to send them. Please go take look, its all for free!
